Who Was The Client

DASGUZO is an innovative company dedicated to reshaping the car rental experience by connecting car owners with renters. The platform allows users to rent vehicles from local owners, while offering owners an easy way to generate income from unused cars. Alongside the rental service, DASGUZO integrates an issue reporting system, allowing users to report problems with the car they rented, helping maintain a high standard of service and vehicle quality.

Our Implementation Approach

To create a seamless platform for car rentals and issue reporting, DASGUZO focused on two core functionalities: a simple rental process and an efficient system for reporting car-related issues. Here’s how the solution was implemented:

Dual-Flow Design

The platform was designed with two clear paths: for users (one for renting and one for owners listing) to simplify the process. The focused clarity of each path enhances usability with different parts of the platform.

Payment Integration

DASGUZO integrated secure payment gateways for transactions between renters and car owners. Users can make bookings using both standard cards and digital wallets, ensuring prompt payments to owners.

Google Maps Integration For Issue Reporting

Users can report car-related issues by pinpointing precise live vehicle/location integration through Google Maps. It boosts precision when the issue occurred, ensuring accurate reports.

Chat Communication

A real-time chat feature allows renters and car owners to communicate efficiently. Ideal for clarifications, pick-up instructions, and resolution of open issues before or during the rental period.

Simple Car Listing And Booking

Car owners could quickly upload vehicle details, set pricing, and availability. A listing would appear in the app for renters to browse based on preferences and filter based on location, availability, and price.

Admin Dashboard

A comprehensive admin panel was created to manage car listings, user accounts, support tickets, and performance metrics. Admins could assign issues to the appropriate team for resolution and monitor the health of the platform.

Pain Points Discovered

Accurate Issue Reporting

The challenge was ensuring that users could provide accurate details about when and where the issue with the car occurred. This was solved by integrating Google Maps to allow users to drop a pin at the exact location of the incident and capture the time of the event.

Balancing Rentals and Reporting

It was important to balance the user experience between the car rental functionality and the issue reporting process. To address this, distinct workflows were designed, separating car booking and issue reporting to avoid conflict.

Seamless Communication

Initially, users experienced delays in coordinating with owners or admins. This was addressed by integrating real-time chat features, making communication faster and more direct.

Admin Overload with Issue Reports

With the potential for numerous car-related reports, admins could be overwhelmed. To manage this, filters and prioritization options were added to the admin dashboard, allowing reports to be categorized and addressed based on urgency.
